Assignment Overview:

Assignment 3 is an Individual Assignment.  Students will review the progress on their personal reflection (Assignment 1), its corresponding action plan as well as their learnings from the Windesheim/Seneca VIP.

Please note these are your final personal reflections, not a recap of the theory or concepts discussed in class.  Incorporate your own specific details and stories to support your points.

Grades will be assigned to the thoroughness and thoughtfulness of the reflection and not based upon any changes in behaviour.

  1. Describe the changes that you feel have occurred from your EQ reflection until now. Describe any challenges or successes in implementing your action plan.  Does Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Terminator have EQ?
  2. Summarize new habits from your action plan that you feel will continue after the end of this course.
    1. Note: if you did not complete Assignment 1, then discuss which EQ domains are your strengths and areas of weakness, using specific examples to illustrate and then specific actions to build upon your strengths and improve your areas of weakness.
  3. Refer to your IRC report from the Windesheim/Seneca VIP:
    1. Were you surprised by your scores? Please explain. How do your scores for the 4 different competences complement each other?
    2. Describe instances when you observed your own individual IRC strengths and weaknesses during your interactions with your virtual project team. You may change team-members’ names if necessary.
      1. Note: if you did not participate in the VIP, then illustrate your IRC strengths and weaknesses at the workplace or social settings with specific examples.
    3. Choose 1 SMART (Specific Measurable Achievable Realistic Time-Oriented) action per IRC competence that you intend to focus on for the future.
